After obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language & Culture from the University of Leiden, Anca Huizenga was unsure about what to do for a living. A friend suggested putting her extensive knowledge and love for babies, kids & design to good use by starting a web store catering to them. What a great plan! 

Pluk & Paloma was officially founded on 10 October 2016, the same day that dear friend had her own very first baby. The first P&P brick & mortar location opened in September of 2018 on the 2e Schuytstraat 168 in The Hague. Our second location in The Hague just opened in July, 2022 on the Thomsonlaan 102! Now we have even more space for Baby and Kids.

Pluk & Paloma aims to be original, whimsical, & creative. We like small brands: companies that still maintain a type of uniqueness, kids’ clothing you can’t buy on every virtual corner of the web, designers creating from a place of passion & love for kids in their hearts. We do not buy our stock in large quantities, which ensures a certain exclusivity. We scour the globe, traveling all over, looking to bring you the best brands for your children.

We are proud to stock brands from all over the world, such as Piupiuchick from Portugal, MarMar CPH from Denmark, The Animals Observatory & Bobo Choses from Spain, Angel Dear from the US and beautiful brands from our very own home in the Netherlands, such as Donsje, Alwero, Dappermaentje & Pyjami. For the babies we stock beautiful wool items by Hvid, Joha, Engel & Cosilana.
